Growing up, I had a passion for being outside and more importantly, a love for the environment. Riding bikes was something I loved doing with my Dad and it dawned on me that I was doing something I loved while staying fit and saving the environment. Glide Away was created not only to encourage people to get outside and ride bikes but also to save the environment.

I don't think anybody can deny how beautiful Santa Barbara is. And I also don't think anyone could deny that we need to preserve it the best we can. And riding a bike to decrease your personal carbon footprint is one of many tasks you could do to help save the earth. Glide Away is here to create a community of riders who all have the same goal; to save the environment.  And knowing that you are giving back to the earth, will make you feel good about what you are doing.
